If you have hard floor on your stairs and you are concerned about someone falling down the stair on that hard floor then this might be something that you may want. Simply clean the step and stick one tread on each step by peeling the protective film off of the back. But, I think that you may use double sided carpet tape if you want (the directions weren’t clear on this). You can use your own discretion. You can vacuum it as if it was an installed carpet. If it gets stained or you just want to change the color you can remove it. It is washable. Dimensions: 10” x 30”. Bullnose edge is 1.3” in height. It can be used on all sorts of hardwood floors. Not recommend on rough surfaces or old paint on wood.
